SODA ESPADRILLE SANDALS

The Perfect Spring Sandals!

The perfect sandals for Spring. These SODA espadrille sandals remind me of Chloe sandals but they are about 1/8 of the price. They are vegan with a white lug sole that is the perfect combo of minimalist, traditional and sporty. They are super comfy and I can’t wait to wear them with casual dresses, white jeans, my jean skirt, and in Hawaii! PS - don’t get me wrong, the Chloe Sandals are gorgeous too! I love the macrame detail on the brown pair and the multicolored sole ones too if your budget allows it.

HERMES SCARF DUPE

I bought this and was prepared for it to look cheap. I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived! It’s butter soft and beautiful. Another great travel item and I even draped it over my couch as a blanket when I wanted a pop or orange in my living room.

COFFEE TABLE FASHION BOOKS

Coffee Table Fashion Books. I love how there are so many of these to choose from. I have Dior, Channel, and YSL. Not only do they look chic on my bookshelf, but I am learning so much about each designer. The photos are beautiful, and I rotate them from my office to my living room coffee table. Pick your favorite designer.

RED AND GREEN STRIPE TOTE

No, it’s not Gucci, but I am a sucker for the Gucci stripe and this is all I need. I love the burlap practicality mixed with the sporty stripe. It’s a great size and big bags are a huge trend for 2023 so you can even use it as a purse! I’ll probably stick to using it as a beach bag or to bring my appetizers and wine to book club.

WESTMAN ATILIER COMPLEXION DROPS

I’ve been a fan of Gucci Westman’s make-up line for years. Gucci (the person, not the brand) is a make-up artist to celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Carmen Diaz, Julianne Moore, Gwenyth Paltrow – the list goes on. She’s known for her “no make-up” make-up style and her products are incredible. I love so many of her products, but The Complexion Drops not only make your skin look flawless, they really nourish your skin. I swear this is one of those products that make me want to scream from the hilltops, “try this”!

HUNTER RAIN BOOTIES

OK full disclosure, I do not own these, but I want to. I just can’t justify new rain boots right now. I do think those of us in California are going to see more rain this season and in the years to come but what do I know about the weather? I also just love these for a pop of color – even if it’s not raining.  Maybe I’ll get them after all – yellow?

BUBBLE UMBRELLA

 I love this umbrella! You can totally cover yourself from the rain and still see. My friend had this on a hike and it was genius.

COZY KNIT CAP

If you’re going to wear a cap, get a cashmere one. At my age, I don’t want to look like a hipster in a knit cap, and this cashmere cable knit looks chic and elevated.

TATA HARPER RESURFACING SERUM

I’ll be honest, I first fell in love with Tata Harper products because of the packaging. Then it was the fragrance and finally, it was the results. I’ve used various Tata products: moisturizer, face wash, face oil, and body oil. I love them all but if I had to pick one it would be this Resurfacing Serum. I sometimes get almost orange peel skin in certain areas but I noticed when I purchase this and apply it every night for a week or so, my face is totally smooth. And the smell is gorgeous!

WOOL CAMEL SWEATER

A camel sweater is a staple and I recommend a thin wool one instead of cashmere. Cashmere can pill and I feel like lighter colors make the pilling more noticeable. Also it’s such a staple, you’ll be wearing it frequently which means more pilling. All the more reason to go for wool and this is a great silhouette.

ABD EL KADER BY CIRE TRUDON CANDLE

my favorite fancy candle!

OK I know these are ridiculously expensive but I included this for those of you who already know, love, and buy this brand, like me. Hudson Grace and other specialty stores sell Cire Trudon candles for about $125 and I discovered that Amazon sells them for $99. So if you’re like me and buy these once in a while, buy them from Amazon!

PEARL HOOP EARRINGS

Love my pearls and these hoops are so precious. The Mermaid vibe was all over the runways for Spring 2023 and pearls are a great way to express your inner mermaid. I bought a similar pair from Claire V before I saw these. Darn!
