Fall 2024 Trends: Accessory Edition

I’m getting very careful about what I add into my wardrobe. Maybe it’s the blessing of a small closet, but I actually don’t like having a ton of clothes. It gives me anxiety when there are too many choices. However I have to balance this with my urge for newness with each coming season.

This Fall I challenged myself to shop my closet for the latest Fall trends and I’ve been pretty successful. There are a few trends I’m loving and have decided to add them as accessories instead of clothing. I have to admit, I think that’s a pretty brilliant idea. Shoes and bags can totally transform a classic outfit, and it doesn’t matter if you gain or lose weight - they still fit! And belts add that final touch and pull an otherwise basic look together.

I am loving the stud trend this Fall and this Madewell stud belt looks like the $550 Khaite version for so much less. I also love Madewell’s stud bag.

Suede is another Fall trend that is making me very happy. I have a vintage suede blazer that I’m excited to wear when it cools down, but these boots are currently in my shopping cart and I can’t decide on the brown or camel color. I love a suede loafer too. This slouchy Parker Thatch burgundy bag is dreamy and such a great size.

Speaking of burgundy, my friend and colleague just added this J. Crew croc embossed bag to our team’s favorites here at The Daisy Edit. I predict it will sell out soon because it’s on sale for a limited time. A classic burgundy penny loafer is hitting all the Fall 2024 trend notes. Also does anyone need these dark red/burgundy socks? I love mine and have been asked about them so there you go.

Leopard print is such a great trend to execute on via an accessory. I love these Dolce Vida sling backs and this Mango belt would look great with an all black outfit.

These are just a few Fall 2024 trends that I’m excited about. Adding a few new accessories this season and updating a few of my core capsule items  is all I need to give my wardrobe a little seasonal update.
